We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, dependable, eager to learn, able to render results and ready to take challenges person for the position of Parts Sales Manager / Supervisor / Executive with experience in Aviation spare parts business (buy & sell). The position demands direct leadership and management of the HTB Parts Sales organization that provides industry leading product support while contributing to revenue growth and adding a net contribution to the business.

The position holder will be responsible to supervise, manage, and provide regular performance feedback to the upper management; maintain high departmental morale while achieving departmental performance objectives. It is expected to provide regular analysis and reporting of the parts business, including performance to objectives, sales forecasts and customer satisfaction keeping the company objective to lean SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost).

Job Description:

The Parts Sales Manager /Supervisor is primarily responsible for procurement processes, inventory management, sales processes, and documentation of aircraft parts. Strong candidates are detail oriented, proactive individuals who possess strong organizational skills. He or she must be able to operate in a time sensitive environment and prioritize critical tasks in multi-tasking environment. Also, the candidate must have 'strong interpersonal skills' who will work well in a team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and clients.


  • Day to day management of Parts Sales
  • Take action for sales leads from customer and other sources
  • Support the sales organization operationally by processing sales orders, reports, generating RFQ, portal management etc.
  • Sourcing & Purchasing Spares from Stock Market, ILS (Inventory Locator Service) as per customer demand and sales forecast and Work directly with Purchasing/Sourcing departments to determine proper seasonal spare parts inventory levels while minimizing slow moving/obsolete/excess inventory
  • Assist with general sales activities by providing information and/or data to external customers--including sales via telemarketing, internet and e-sales channels.
  • Assist and coordinate, turn backs, supplier commit dates, customer commit dates as necessary.
  • Provide formal quotes on behalf of the Account Managers; ensures accurate and timely entry and delivery of quotes to customers
  • May assist in areas such as Revenue Recondition Forecasting, Data Base Reporting and other related duties.
  • Demonstrate commitment, adherence and compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and training requirements for a safe workplace.

  • Responsible for creating and meeting sales budgets, departmental budget, monthly comment letters and performance objectives for the department (Management of HTB Parts Sales Department, including supervisory responsibilities such as hiring, terminations, performance reviews, coaching, salary planning, etc.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction in spare parts and product support
  • Develop and recommend parts sales practices to department, global aftermarket team and sales team that leverage company capabilities. Maintain monthly Inbound/Backlog for Department.
  • Maintain and update Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPLs).
  • Timely input for Monthly Report to include: Departmental report, Inbound/backlog, sales versus budget, On Time Performance, margin report, and customer sales and trends. Other analysis and reports as required.
  • Occasional travel (trade shows, customer sites, etc.) would be expected.
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experienced in Aerospace Spare Parts purchase and sales
  • Self-Starter and Self-motivated
  • Strong Computer Skills, Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general data entry
  • Strong interpersonal skills who will work well in a team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and clients
  • Desire to assist customers and "go the extra mile".
  • Provide formal quotes on behalf of the Account Managers; ensures accurate and timely entry and delivery of quotes to customers
  • Working experience with Component Control ‘Quantum Inventory Management System
  • Working experience with ILS and Stock Market
  • Training on all / any of the followings is a huge plus
  • Receiving & Shipping Inspection
  • ESSD handling
  • HAZMAT handling
